Dosha & Movement: an Ayurvedic Yoga Workshop
- What kind of movement truly supports you?
- Why do some practices leave you feeling steady and clear, while others leave you depleted or restless?
- What would it feel like to truly make your practice your own?
Join us for an inward journey through yoga and Ayurveda, where attention turns toward the subtle rhythms that shape how you move, breathe, and respond to life. Ayurveda offers a map for this exploration, helping you recognize your patterns with clarity and care. Together, they open a path of practice that is personal, intuitive, and deeply attuned to who you are.
Through discussion and reflection, you’ll explore your own patterns of energy, movement, and response. From there, you’ll be introduced to a simple and practical framework from Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, that helps explain why we each respond differently to the same practice.
You’ll learn how to recognize your own inate constitution, your dosha. We will look into how imbalance can show up in the body and mind, and how to work skillfully resolves those imbalances rather than fight against them.
We then bring this understanding into experience. In a yoga and breathwork practice, you’ll explore how small shifts in pacing, effort, and attention can create a practice that feels more supportive, nourishing, and sustainable.
Over time, the most meaningful practice is the one that reflects who you truly are.. This workshop offers a clear and grounded way to begin that process.
